This is a very good example of a Model 1814 flintlock rifle by H. Deringer. The stock is very good with scratches, nicks and dings. The markings are sharp and crisp. The lockplate has light peppered pitting that blends to an even dark plum patina. The buttplate, patchbox, triggerguard, trigger, hammer, frizzen, barrel and barrel bands all have a dark brown patina. The bore is very good and overall condition is very good.
