The walnut stock is in excellent condition with minor nicks and dings. The ramrod is not original to the gun. The barrel and barrel bands have pitting that blends to an untouched brown patina. The lockplate, hammer and frizzen all have pitting that blends to a brown patina. The brass has a nice untouched patina. This Model 1814 Harper's Ferry has a nice even look. The markings are sharp on the lock. The bore is in good condition. This is a very good specimen and will clean to an excellent appearance.
