Potschappel Porcelain Covered Potpourri Vases
German, ca 1888-1901. A pair of porcelain potpourri vases by the Carl Thieme Saxonian Porcelain Factory, each having a pierced lid topped with a polychrome painted crown, handles in the form of female heads, and sides painted with Bacchanalian and harvest scenes, all rising on tripod legs and base, each marked with blue crossed lines and a T along with impressed pattern numbers; larger ht. 11.75 in.
Multiple repaired cracks to rim of one urn. Lid is missing cross finial. Minor chips and hairlines to rim of other.
