20" length. Saddle is complete with four iron rings and two rosettes on each side near the pommel. Both iron stirrups are stamped C.S.A. on each side. This saddle is quite possibly a Texas Confederate saddle.
Brass eagle head pommel is in very good condition and has been polished. All leather areas of the saddle are stiff and brittle. Large segment of leather missing near the front edge of the seat and appears to have been torn off a long time ago. Saddle is missing some tacks and is severed especially on the near side in the cantle region. Straps are in slightly better condition and still somewhat pliable. Near relic condition.
