Khaki canvas double bags complete with all web straps, bronzed buckles ans brass fittings. "U.S." surcharged on both flaps, marked and dated "J.Q.M.D. / 1932." The M24 canvas bags were designed as a substitute for leather as that material was in short supply during wartime. Very few were manufactured, with those being strenuously tested, explaining the few surviving examples.
