Edwardian Carved Inlaid Mahogany Glazed Chocolate Cabinet, early 20th c., the glazed removable tray top over glazed sides, each with a drop front, on square tapered legs on spade feet, H.- 28 in., W.- 24 in., D.- 13 3/4 in.
Condition consistent with age and use. Scattered flaking is seen throughout the finish. Two breaks and apparent repairs are seen on one leg where it connects to the box and just above the foot. One side is also lacking from the foot. An approximate 1 inch sliver is lacking from the top edge of one corner. The interior catches for the doors are bent slightly inward. A v-shaped crack is seen on the interior top edge of one drop front. A pea-size chip is observed on the top edge of another. An intriguing piece.
