French Empire Style Carved Cherry Marble Top Commode, 19th c., the figured white marble over a frieze drawer and three setback drawers, flanked by full tapered columns, on cylindrical legs, H.- 34 in., W.- 46 1/4 in., D.- 24 in.Condition consistent with age and use. There are scratches to the marble top and loss to proper right front corner of top. The doors work smoothly. No keys are present. Veneer loss to proper right front foot. There is old worm damage.
