Pair of Diminutive Louis XV Style Burled Walnut Ormolu Mounted Bombe Commodes, 20th c., the rounded edge highly figured black marble over two bombe deep drawers, flanked by bombe sides, on ormolu mounted cabriole legs, H.- 31 1/2 in., W.- 33 1/2 in., D.- 18 in.Condition consistent with age and use. Bronze sabot missing from proper right foot on one. There is veneer loss on both sides of foot, about 3 inches per side. Green corrosion to ormolu edges on that piece. Corrosion on proper left front leg of the other.
