Unusual Brass Floor Lamp, c. 1910, with a pierced hexagonal shade, on a hexagonal support with applied pierced panels, to a sloping hexagonal base with polychromed decoration, the shade now lacking its slag glass panels, H.- 70 in., Dia.- 22 in.
Condition consistent with age and use. Holes for wires are observed throughout, including 3 in the back plate, 5 in the center, and 1 in each candle cup and bobeche. Cracks are noted on two joints in each arm, at the middle and where the arm meets the central scrolling decoration. An approximate ½ inch section is lacking from one arm. An approximate 1 inch section is lacking from another arm, exposing the metal support underneath. A lovely pair.
