Information provided by the Artist: Bill is represented by Themes+Projects gallery in San Francisco and Stremmel Gallery in Reno, NV. His photographs and mixed media works have been extensively exhibited in the US, Europe and Asia since 1980 in over 20 one-man and 60 group shows and his work is in private collections internationally. His work has also been featured in a number of movies, including "Robocop" by Paul Verhoeven, "The Namesake" by Mira Nair, "Definitely Maybe" by Adam Brooks and "Just Wright" by Sanaa Hamri. Bill was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship twice, in 1980 for Photography and again in 1991 for Painting. Further he was awarded grants from the Eyes and Ears Foundation twice, in 1979 and again in 1984. He has a Masters Degree from San Francisco State in Fine Art Photography. Bill Kane's work is represented in the Crocker's permanent collection.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
