Information provided by the Artist: David Ruderman is a Fair Oaks, CA based photographer. His first film camera was used during a two year Peace Corps assignment in India from 1969-1971. Currently, he creates images captured with a high resolution digital camera. The quiet compositions found in both ordinary locations and sites of great grandeur are what inspires him. His photographs have appeared in the prestigious publications: “Black and White Photography” magazine and “LensWork” publications. He was awarded “Best of Show” in a multidimensional art exhibit at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. In 2022 his photograph received the “People’s Choice” award at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, CA. His work is in the collection of several museums and his images are collected nationally.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
