Information provided by the Artist: My name is Emma Luna, I have been making this particular body of work for more than twenty years, my work has been shown, and collected widely, in the US and abroad. It has been widely recognized as a body of work that is unique in its subject matter. My quest has been to give importance to the everyday cloth objects such as the humble terry cloth, towels, socks, and many more objects of clothing. I am greatly grateful to the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and the Fulbright Foundation for granting me grants to pursue my artistic career. Emma Luna's work is represented in the Crocker's permanent collection.
