Information provided by the Artist: Esteban Vela multidisciplinary artist, architect, painter and sculptor whose work serves as a bridge between structural precision and neo-expressionist spontaneity. Integrating his architectural background into the canvas, Vela approaches art as a construction of layers, where rigid geometry meets the raw, visceral energy of contemporary street aesthetics. His practice is a continuous exploration of urban identity, deconstructing the symbols of pop culture to reveal the underlying narratives of modern society. Vela’s style is defined by a high-contrast visual language, blending cryptic typography with bold, gestural forms. This multidisciplinary perspective allows him to navigate the tension between the planned and the accidental, creating a dialogue that is as intellectual as it is instinctive. By merging the spatial awareness of an architect with the rebellious spirit of a painter, Esteban Vela invites the viewer to look beyond the surface.
