Information provided by the Artist: Janet Barnes is a Northern California-based artist whose work is inspired by the concept of “social abstraction”. Her vivid mixed media artworks explore the profound impact of daily family rituals and traditions, particularly within her acclaimed Dinnertime and Chef series. Barnes’ work has been exhibited at numerous national galleries and art shows, earning critical acclaim and several prestigious awards. One of her works is part of the private collection at the Crocker Art Museum, underscoring her impact on contemporary art.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
