Information provided by the Artist: June Steckler is an intuitive painter of abstract, nature-inspired paintings that are exhibited in private and public collections throughout the United States and internationally. Steckler is represented by Piper J. Gallery and Ridgeline Gallery and has upcoming solo exhibitions in Truckee (August 2026) and Sacramento (October 2026). Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Steckler relocated to New York for college, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Subsequently, she was employed as a graphic designer in New York, Washington, DC, Nashville, and Los Angeles. For the past two decades, Steckler has made her home in the more rural surrounds of Northern California, where she draws daily inspiration from the profound beauty of the Sierra Nevada region.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
