Information provided by the Artist: Steven Cranston is an enrolled member of the Tlingit and Haida Tribes of Alaska. His acrylic paintings and screen printed serigraphs and wood carved panels explore Alaska Native Formline design through a contemporary lens. His work draws inspiration from the traditional ovoid and u-shape forms that have carried cultural meaning for generations.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Upon payment of the invoice, winning bidders will receive more information about artwork pick up and shipping.
