Comments/description: Incredible ad panel with fabulous graphics and unimpeachable condition. Larger than most round clocks of this vintage, with no manufacturer markings. Unusual bezel and housing style, with nicely contoured Deco lines on both. Trim bezel is held in place by screws rather than tension or clips as found on other models of the time. Very solid and well-made piece. The imprint on the face is outstanding, and the Little Man at each hour mark is in perfect condition - as is all of the art on the face. There are no issues with the curved glass lens either. The bezel and the housing have both been crudely repainted, the paint applied over existing oxidation. The original color was light blue or gray as can be seen under the bezel on close inspection. The bezel was not painted at all originally and is now partially gold. Each screw head has been painted white, also not original. Close-up photos of these works have been provided. The piece did not run when plugged in yet still makes an impressive display as the advertising face is so superb. Often this means the works just need a cleaning. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
