- Lot Description
A collection of 11 vintage novelty items, predominantly brooches and charms, crafted from molded plastic/resin in various colors including cream, red, black, white, orange, brown, blonde, and yellow, with some pieces incorporating carved wood. The collection features several Scottish Terrier dog-themed items, including a black plastic pendant on a black braided cord, a pair of small black and white plastic brooches, a cream plastic dangle brooch with a brass-toned chain, and a carved wood brooch with two dangling Scottie dogs. Notable pieces include a red plastic swan charm, a red plastic horseshoe charm, a 'Brownie' girl character brooch marked 'Brownie', and a plastic dangle brooch featuring a football and a boxing glove. Also present are two small wooden souvenir rattles, linked by a string and a broken tag marked 'CUBA 39'. Further markings include 'Hawaii' engraved on the reverse of the carved wooden dog brooch and 'GT. BRITAIN' on the reverse of one of the black and white Scottie dog brooches. Metal components are limited to base metal pinbacks, a brass-toned chain, and a black braided cord. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $10 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5 each. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for an International Shipping Quote BEFORE the auction.Overall good to fair condition. Items display minor wear consistent with age. Tarnishing is present on some base metal components. Chips are noted on the boxing glove charm and the 'CUBA 39' tag.
