Prairie inspired vintage floral set from the 1970s that was made by Luella Althouse. It includes a shirt, a matching skirt, and a bonnet. The bonnet is a black and white gingham with a brim and a tie to secure it on the head. The shirt features ruffles, a high neckline, a tie around the neck, and long sleeves. The majority of the shirt is a floral print with a black background and flowers in pink and blue. On the cuffs and around the shoulders, there is the same black and white gingham cotton fabric that is on the bonnet. Red rick racks line the shoulders. The ruffles and ties are defined with a black and white floral print cotton fabric. There are seven red heart buttons with white flowers engraved on them and one snap button. The skirt is comprised of the same fabrics with the colorful flowers occupying most of the skirt. The hem of the skirt is defined with a red rick rack followed by the black and white gingham fabric and the black and white floral fabric. There is a zipper and two hook and eye closures on the back of the skirt. Both pieces are in good condition. The bonnet is in good condition. Laid flat: Length: 33" and Waist: 12". The shirt, laid flat: Length: 23", Shoulders: 13", Bust: 17", Sleeves: 18", and Waist: 17".
