- Lot Description
2 1930s-40s Day Dresses. The lot includes 2 blue day dresses from the 1930s and 1940's. Featuring a 1930s blue chiffon three quarter length sleeve dress with a ruched bust, a scoop neckline, a three quarter length skirt with pleated accents, and snap closures at the side. As well as a yolk, sleeves, and sash in a blue, yellow, and white striped chiffon. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 20'', Waist: 15'', Length: 48.5''. The dress is in fair condition with toning and discolorations throughout. Also included is a 1940s blue and white striped chiffon two piece dress set featuring a sleeveless dress with a white acetate bodice and striped blue skirt, and snap closures on the side. The jacket features short puffed sleeves, a peplum waist, faux pockets, snap closures at the front with 3 looped celluloid buttons. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 18.5'', Waist: 16.5'', Length: 44.5'', the jacket measures: Shoulders: 13'', Bust: 18'', Waist: 14.5'', Length: 24''. In fair condition with brittle celluloid buttons, several of which have come unsewn or are broken. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
