A Vintage white rayon kimono jacket that was made in Japan. It features the word kotobuki or longevity on the back in gold threaded Japanese lettering. The bottom half of the jacket features a pine needle design in green with branches on both sides of the front and on the back. Several spots along the shoulders and on the sleeves. Laid flat: Length: 38", Shoulders: 26", Chest: 26", and Sleeves: 13". Also included is a floral rayon kimono jacket. The jacket features a blue background with a repeating floral pattern in red, pink, green, cream, purple, and black. There is fading along the back and one sleeve has a rip along the cuff. Laid flat: Length: 29", Shoulders: 15", Sleeves: 26", and Chest: 21". This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes.
