- Lot Description
There is a Vintage yellow dress from India and a pink dress from West Pakistan with both having shisha. A yellow short sleeve dress by Charles and Designs. It was handmade in India and it has black velvet trim on the collar and ends of the sleeves. A back zipper. There are several patches with giraffes on them, a tribal pattern, and shisha. The colors of the tribal print varies with it either being red or green. Some spots, toning, and ink transfer on some of the patches and the velvet has peeled in several areas. Laid flat: Length: 53.5", Shoulders: 16.5", Bust: 18.5", and Waist: 15.5". Also included is a pink, sleeveless dress from Lahore, West Pakistan. It is by Mubarik and it features hand embroidery alongside shisha. A back zipper and two hook and eye closures along the back of the neck. The torso and bottom half of the skirt features floral embroidery is yellow, green, dark pink, and black. Fading along the skirt of the dress particularly along the back of the shoulders. Laid flat: Length: 52.5", Shoulders: 13", Bust: 17.5", and Waist: 16". This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.Please note, antique clothing, over 100 years old, and some vintage clothing, may not be suitable wearing. Please consider all photos and descriptions prior to bidding. Please contact Dana Auctions directly with any questions. In House Shipping costs: typically, 1st Clothing Lot Ships for $20-$25, (Smaller Accessories 1st Lot, $10-15), each additional lots are $5-10.
