- Lot Description
5 vintage pieces in total with each representing the sea. A woven, rectangular textile that depicts a palm tree and a hut with the sea next to them. A medium sized, hand printed cotton fabric which shows two boats with one named Susan L on one end and another boat named Kitty C on the other end. Some spots and storage line discoloration. A sample from a larger piece that is Massachusetts themed. It features a ship named Pequod, a sign for an inn, a sailor with one leg, a crew on a boat, and more. It is a cotton fabric and there are spots and toning present. A printed cotton sample depicting boating in Maine. It is from the 1940s or 1950s. There are various boats and homes along the waterfront. Spots, toning, and discoloration along the piece. The last sample is a white cotton printed piece which depicts crabs, grid lines, fish, and seaweed. There are spots present. The pieces are from the mid century. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.Please note, antique clothing, over 100 years old, and some vintage clothing, may not be suitable wearing.
