Vintage 1940s Dressing Gown and Negligee Set. The lot includes a vintage 1940s dressing gown and negligee set. Featuring a pink acetate satin dressing gown by Rainbow Shops featuring puffed belle sleeves, a round collar, a fitted waist, 2 pockets, attached waist ties, a metal zip closure at the front, and soutache style appliqued rayon wrapped cord in a rounded zig zag pattern. Laying flat it measures: Shoulders: 14.5'', Bust: 21'', Waist: 15.5'', Sleeve: 25'', Length: 50''. It is in good/fair condition with toing at the collar, small spots, and a few discolorations near the front hem. A vintage 1940s bias cut negligee and robe set by Odette Barsa. featuring an ivory acetate satin full length nightgown/negligee with machine lace straps, a plunging back, lace trim, a ruched bust, attached waist ties, and appliqued acetate spray of leaves. Laying flat it measures: Bust: 22'', Waist: 16.5'', Length: 59''. In fair condition with toning throughout, and some small spots. Also included is a matching sheer nylon full length robe with a scalloped collar, blouse sleeves, machine lace trimmed shoulders, and cuffs, machine lace inserts at the bust and waist, snap and glass button closures, and a matching pair od acetate satin sprays of leaves. In fair condition with toning throughout and small holes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
