- Lot Description
Vintage Bars Quilt, Redwork Spread & Chenille. Includes a vintage bars quilt, bars are heavily faded, may have originally been pink and blue, alternating cable and cross-hatch quilting, hand pieced and hand quilted, thin cotton batting, white cotton reverse, measuring 66" x 80", in fair condition with overall fading, several spots and stains, and storage discoloration. Includes a vintage white cotton redwork embroidered summer spread, possibly Pennsylvania, with a large tulip motif and tulip border, with feathers and scrolls scattered throughout, blue embroidered border and binding, hand embroidered, no batting, no quilting, white cotton embroidered reverse, measuring 79" x 85", in good condition with small spots and stains and storage discoloration. Also includes a white linen spread with blue and white chenille-work with a large cross-hatch filled circle in the center surrounded by tulips and a scroll-like border with a blue chenille edge, measuring 74" x 100", in fair condition with several stain, spots and holes. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In overall good condition minor spots and/or discolorations, please see the photographs for imperfections. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
