- Lot Description
Vintage Portable Sewing Machine - Bell Sewing Portable Electric Sewing Machine. Vintage c1950s Bell electric portable sewing machine, serial number 22366, with original case, detachable pedal, and accessories. Bottom marked "Manufactured by Bell Manufacturing Corporation Freeland, Pa Middletown NY USA". Includes multiple presser foot attachments made by Griest, see photos. A separate removable accessories box containing extra needles, key, and a clamp is included along with an instruction card. When plugged in light comes on, motor is heard but needle doesn't move up and down. In good visual condition, though felt on bottom has deteriorated, decals are intact. Felt lining in case has some loss and accessories box shows age. Exterior of case has scuffs, scrapes and wear, as well as oxidation to hardware--see photos for all condition issues. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
