The female Native American figure depicted in traditional garb of fringed buckskin clothing, bead necklace and moccasins; the hollow cast iron figure standing on a naturalistic base with cast detail of tobacco leaves in her left hand and bronze leaves in her right, a similar spray of bronze tobacco leaves as a headdress. The base has two holes and a back tab for mounting. The figure retains an outstanding old, presumably original, enamel surface with patina. The figure is mounted to an ebonised wood base and presented on a contemporary white enamel pedestal with slate top.
Measures 28 x 7.5 x 7.75 inches, 66-inches with the pedestal.
We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell.
Very good to excellent condition with outstanding old enamel finish, there are no issues of damage or repair found, there may be restoration at the base of the front spray of tobacco leaves.
