Titled 'Farm Near Missouri River' by the gallery tag verso and dated 1991. Signed lower right.
A self-described 'abstract impressionist,' Keith Crown is best known for his vibrant sparkling, electric watercolors. He painted and lived in Taos and taught at the University of Southern California for nearly 40 years. He also lived and painted in Missouri while his wife was a professor of Art History at the University of Missouri in Columbia - thus the theme of this work.
