Collection: Estate of Barbara Frost Porter, Cleveland and Palm BeachFLOWERS (FELDMAN/SCHELLMAN II.73) Color screenprint, 1970, on wove paper, signed, inscribed Z and dedicated Sam Green in ball-point pen top right verso, one of 26 artist's proofs aside from the stamp-numbered edition of 250, printed by Aetna Silkscreen Products, Inc., New York, published by Factory Additions, New York, framed. Sheet 35 7/8 x 35 13/16 inches; 911 x 910 mm Frame 36 1/4 x 36 1/4 inches; 921 x 921 mm Provenance: Samuel Adams 'Sam' Green, New York Acquired from the above by Robert and Barbara Schofield, 1971 Descended through the family to the present ownerSome unobtrusive rubbing and faint rippling, some mostly pale foxing discernible in the flowers, other pale discoloration in the yellow flower, some water drip stains visible in the green background in between the top flowers, colors of yellow flower and bottom right pink flower appear darker at extreme sheet edge, foxing and offsetting verso, the sheet including bottom of signature slightly trimmed, framed with glass.
