- Lot Description
The pierced swan's-neck pediment above a dentil and fretwork frieze and a pair of glazed doors opening to silk-lined shelves, the projecting lower section with two short drawers over three long drawers on bracket feet. Height 86 1/2 inches (219.8 cm), width 39 3/4 inches (101 cm), depth 20 inches (50.8 cm).Previous restorations, upper section - backboard replaced, sun fading, repaired breaks and replacement to pediment, shrinkage, separation and repairs to doors, rippling, lifting, and age cracks to veneers on side; lower section - sun fading, rippling, lifting and age cracks to veneers, age crack to left side, later drawer pulls and now with plugs to drawer fronts, stains, rubbing and losses to finish, worming, old marks and scratches, scuffs to feet.
