The Parke-Bernet auction catalogue states that this work was submitted by Ms. Moses as an entry in a competition for murals to decorate the Canastota, New York, Post Office. Framed 20 5/8 x 33 1/4 inchesTwo small touches of inpainting in the sky just above the green tree; otherwise, in fine condition.
