Estate of a Rehoboth Beach CollectorComprising a silver chalice with a deep bowl and flared foot, with a textured finish, heavy gauge, stamped in two places STERLING, height 6 1/2 inches, diameter 4 7/8 inches; Schofield Co., Baltimore, jeweled silver presentation chalice with a knopped stem and six-pointed stepped petaled foot, with an applied crucifix on the foot inset with a small sapphire, blue zircon, and synthetic alexandrite, engraved on the underside ORDINATION GIFT TO The Rev. John J. O'Brien FROM HIS MOTHER AND FATHER / RAYMOND - CHARLES / JUNE 11 - 1938, height 8 5/8 inches; and a small cylindrical canister, with a domed cover and cruciform finial, height 5 1/4 inches; Together with a Gilt-Metal Presentation Chalice and Cover and a Silver-Plated Chalice. The former engraved on the underside IN MEMORY OF JOSEPH AND MARGARET ROCCO, the latter decorated on the stem with a blue enameled band. Total approximately 56 ounces, all in (including the three jewels), weighable.Each appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition, with the exception of the Schofield & Co. jeweled chalice, which has a very small shallow dent to the side of its bowl.
