First and limited edition, one of 25 Hors de Commerce copies (this D293) from a total of 300, signed and numbered in pencil by Frink on the rear flyleaf. Sheets loose as issued in original olive-green portfolio, with a gilt figure of an eagle on the upper cover. 25 3/4 x 18 3/8 inches (65.5 x 46.75 cm). 189 pp.; illustrated with 19 etchings with aquatint by Frink, on J. Barcham Green wove paper. The case rather soiled with light wear, the ties a bit frayed.
