Condition
Shade: appears to be in generally good condition; the shade is "in-the-round," i.e., it measures 18 1/4 inches from the 12 o'clock to the 6 o'clock position and 18 1/4 inches from the 3 o'clock to the 9 o'clock position; the shade is "tight," i.e., not loose; there are several individual glass segments with tight hairlines, however, not too many; the shade likely originally had a small metal tag affixed to the lower interior rim edge with the shade's model number on it, however, the tag is now missing (small pinholes are visible on the mount where the tag would have been affixed)Base: appears to be in generally good; there is, however, a dent to one side of the cusion base; the lamp base shows appropriate signs of uniform wear and dulling to the patina; each of the three electric light sockets are marked GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. (two sockets have G.E on/off paddle switches; the third paddle is marked "F"); the lamp is currently wired; the three sockets appear to be in working condition, however, one of the G.E. paddle switches is not functioning properly so that the light bulb can be turned on but it will not stay on because the paddle immediately reverts to its off position (this socket should be replaced or perhaps it is a matter of having a professional electrician look at the paddle switch).Heat Cap: shows appropriate signs of age; appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; it threads properly onto the top ring mount.
