Mid-18th century
Each swivel-hinged envelope top above a conforming case with two panel doors enclosing four graduated small drawers above a plain frieze, on cabriole legs headed by lapets and pad feet, one joined by a shaped stretcher.
Height 28 1/2 inches (72.3 cm), width 13 1/2 inches (34.3 cm) square, open 19 inches (48.2 cm).

Condition
Cabinet 1: age crack to back proper right side,stains, scratches, perishing to varnish and water marks to top, shrinkage cracks, age cracks to veneers along frieze, old marks and scratches to legs and feet.Cabinet 2: some sun fading, age crack to back proper right side, stains, scratches, perishing to varnish and water marks to top, drawers later lined with pink silk paper, perishing to varnish of legs, old marks and scratches.
