Description:
4 Cassell Game Hen Lithographs, comprising four pages from Cassell's Poultry book including: Mr. John Harris's Pair of Henny Game, Special Prize 1872 (signature bottom right); Wheaten Game Hen, (signature bottom left, mat burn around edges and slight staining bottom left edge); Mr. John Douglas's Black-Breasted-Red Game Hen 'Countess', 1868 (signature bottom left, foxing upper right and upper left edge with mat burn); Mr. John Douglas's Duckwing Game Fowls 'Sir Harry' and 'Lady' (signature bottom left, mat burn, foxing middle left edge and slight staining bottom left edge.) All matted in painted wood frames. Frame size: 21 in. x 18 1/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight: 9 3/4 in. x Width: 7 1/2 in.
