Property from a Private Collector, Spring Isand, GA and Philadelphia
Description:
Albertus Seba, Lizard & Crocodile Etching and Another of Lizards, lizard and snake etching marked "TAB. XC" upper right corner and numbered figure labels. Lizard and crocodile etching marked "TAB. CV" upper right corner and numbered figure labels. (longitudinal crease lines and staining to upper left corner, uneven paper texture, waviness). Both matted in a painted wood frame. Lizard print frame size: 29 3/8 in. x 21 7/8 in. Crocodile print frame size: 27 7/8 in. x 32 in. Provenance: According to the consignor these were purchased at 'V & J Duncan Antique Maps, Prints, Savannah, GA.'Measurements: Height: of largest frame 27 7/8 in. x Width: 32 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition. Slight foxing throughout with uneven paper textures throughout. Small printing marks. See description.
