Description:
Eli Terry and Sons Mahogany Mantle Clock, mahogany pillar and scroll mantle clock raised on animal paw feet with painted wood dial and two train movement, large eglomise panel on lower portion of door, captioned 'S. Mary's Chapel' in enter of panel, the pillars of the case painted with floral designs, interior with Eli Terry eight day clocks patent and instructions, together with winding key and key to door.Measurements: Height: 34 1/2 in. x Width: 18 in. x Depth: 5 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, old marks and scratches to case, minor age cracks to wood, alligatoring to finish on painted pillars, eglomise panel with cracking, losses, restoration and lifting to paint, craquelure and minor marks and scratches to painted dial, lacking weights.
