Description:
English Tea Caddy and Walnut Writing Box, comprising a writing box with brass inlay, interior felt writing surface, and side compartments and a Rosewood tea caddy with mother-of-pearl escutcheon, opening to two lidded compartments. Dimensions of tea caddy: 5 1/2 in. x 8 x 4 7/8 in.Measurements: Height: of largest: 5 1/2 in. x Width: 13 3/4 in. x Depth: 9 5/8 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, both with old marks and scratches, wear to edges, and both lacking keys. Writing box with age crack with patch across lid, felt interior replaced, minor age cracks throughout, and lacking lock for one side of writing surface. Tea caddy with some fading to finish mostly on front.
