Description:
The Works of William Shakespeare, Edited By Charles and Mary Cowden Clark, 1903, published by Bickers & Son, London, with a fore-edge painting of William Shakespeare, bookplate reads 'Presented by The Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to Cadet W. S. Jameson for Meritorious Work, March 1915', bound in blue leather with embossed gilt details.Measurements: Height: 9 3/8 in. x Width: 6 3/4 in. x Depth: 2 3/8 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, general wear and scratches to leather, wear to edges, toning and scattered foxing to pages, fore-edge painting only light faded.
