Early 19th century unmarked seal, inset with a bloodstone intaglio engraved with the Powell coat of arms, There is an impression of this seal in red wax in the archive scrap book p1 with a handwritten note that this was the seal used by George Eyre Powell RN after his marriageAs with all items from the Powell family archive this lot has passed by family descent to the present vendor.
