BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A diamond and gem-set brooch. Designed as a crown, set throughout with blue gem, synthetic ruby and old-cut diamonds, to the plain bar. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 3.5cms. Weight 3.9gms.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. Blue gems well matched, minor surface abrasion. Synthetic ruby in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the facet edges. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Would recommend attention to setting. Some claws missing to blue gems.
