A diamond brooch. Designed as a safety-pin, partially set with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspending a single roller-skate and a mandolin each with brilliant-cut diamond detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 3.8cms. Weight 6.7gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Localised patch of abrasion and discolouration to the pin. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Some small light coloured inclusions can be seen to some diamonds under magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
