A late 19th century gold diamond brooch. Of rectangular outline, the old-cut diamond, inset to the geometric engraved panel, within a beaded stepped surround. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 3.8cms. Weight 9.7gms.
Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Glazed panel reverse. Small loop for safety chain. Small scuffs to matt front. Diamond bright. Size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Small, scattered inclusions.
