A late 19th century pietra dura brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the pietra dura panel depicting a bunch of flowers, within a rope-twist surround. AF. Length 4.3cms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. There are a couple of sections of gem inlay missing from the pietra dura. Weight 9.2gms. General abrasion visible to the pietra dura panel. There are some dents visible to the outer surround. There is a loop so the piece may be worn as a brooch.
