A late 19th century silver and gold diamond, pearl and cultured pearl pendant. The natural pearls, measuring 4.9 to 5.9mms, within a rose-cut diamond scroll surmount, suspending a cultured pearl drop, to the later detachable seed pearl single-row necklace. Accompanied by report number 5775-1462, dated 4th March 2015, from the Gemmological Certification Services, stating the five pearls are natural, saltwater. Length of pendant 5.5cms. Length of seed pearl strand 35cms. Weight 18.3gms. With fitted case.
Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.75ct. Please see report for full details of the pearls. Noticeable glue residue visible between the pearls and their mounts. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
