A late Victorian 18ct gold diamond snake ring. Designed as a coiled snake, with old-cut diamond crest. Estimated diamond weight 0.15ct, K-L colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for 18ct gold, partially indistinct. Weight 9.2gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Localised deep scratches to the snake head. Band shows evidence of a resize. The diamond is drawing a yellow hue, with small off-centre chip, visible with magnification. Ring size M1/2.
