A mid 20th century chrysoberyl and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape yellowish green chrysoberyl, within a single-cut diamond surround, to the openwork shoulders and ridged band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Weight 3.7gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Discolouration and areas of dark tarnishing to the ring. Areas of the gallery appear to be dented out of shape with areas of possible repair/restoration. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Chips to some diamonds visible with magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Chrysoberyl medium yellowish gree,, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stone in good condition with minor abrasions. Ring size N.
