A mid 20th century diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond collet, within a single-cut diamond openwork surround, to the grooved band. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Principal diamond estimated 0.80ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Ring size K 1/2. Weight 2.9gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Band has some cracks where it joins the gallery. Bottom of gallery is worn due to wear alongside another ring. Head of ring is bent out of shape from band. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively.
