BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A sapphire and diamond ring. The square-shape sapphire, to the tapered baguette-cut diamond shoulders and plain band. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 12.5 by 12.3 by 6.9mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, I-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Weight 7.6gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Ring shows slight evidence of a resize. Diamonds fairly well matched, varying inclusions, one diamond with small chip. The sapphire is a light purple-blue hue, large light typical inclusions throughout the stone, visible to the unaided eye. Ring size O. Stamped 750.
